Posted March 18, 200916 yr these are some unfortunately doubled-paned, too grungy scratchitti shots from the elevated J train, probably my favorite subway ride. ah well. enjoy the ride anyway. btw - the route is from the cypress hills, east ny, brooklyn neighborhood into downtown manhattan. the east ny neighborhood stop i got on was a very interesting one…hint, hint! brownville gangstz hood, eh? lol - aww quit cutting class you kids! :whip: some platform views while I waited around for the train here comes the ride Bring on the grimy windows now – sorry -- this is broadway junction you can see an express skips this stop Whoosh! an older style local train right behind the express, wish i was on one, they had much better single pane front windows :| get your swerve on! big curve --- hang on! :-o billyburg no doubt crawling with hipsters? approaching the williamsburgh bridge running across the bridge well here we are on the manhattan side, the tunnel is too dark, so that’s it! Hmm, nice hairdo  *** if you can catch an older front car the J train is a great way to see the city ***
March 18, 200916 yr Why do people hate williamsburgh so much? 'Cause some of those people make me embarrased to say I'm PR.
March 18, 200916 yr nobody hates it, it's just turned into a big easy to goof on immigrant neighborhood that's all. the immigrants being almost exclusively wealthy suburban 20 y.o.'s.
March 18, 200916 yr Neat stuff. Some views remind me of Chicago's CTA, most not at all - entirely a different world.
