400,000? That's what they get on St. Patrick's Day. I'm saying there will be close to 1,000,000. That's right, one million. Count on it. I can't think of a single person besides KJP & MTS that would not go to a victory parade. I see expats flying in from all corners of the country to come take part in the spectacle.

Maybe 1,500,000. Once in a life time event.

Yeah, everyone who has ever suffered an ounce of being a cleveland sports fan will be back home that day.  It will be ridiculous.

It will be the best money I spend, on the flight home for the parade.

Trust me, I dont think this city is bad at all.  Its the Forbes top 10's...the jokes, people like Charles Barkely calling it mistake on the lake.

i'd only be bothered if gnarls barkley said that.  :wink2:

Really, you should check your facts. Those of you saying it has been 45 years and counting or Cleveland hasn't had a championship since 1964. You seen to be forgetting about the Crunch.

Shame on you, shame on you all.

And Cleveland City Stars that won USL 2 last season and were promoted to USL 1, the league directly below MLS

More Than A Game For Cleveland

By Tara L. Conley

"In a place like Cleveland, hope comes in small morsels." Cleveland City Councilman, Tony Brancatelli.  There's a reason why, on Tuesday, I was standing in the middle of a sports bar clasping my hands in prayer while watching as the Cleveland Cavaliers let Game 4 slip away.  Though I stood several hundred miles away watching the game from a New York City restaurant, I knew exactly how my fellow Clevelanders felt, as we all witnessed what seemed to be hope dwindling away in the remaining seconds of over time.  Being born and/or raised in northeast Ohio means a few things; blue collar working class background, gray days, and living and dying with every single Cleveland sports team from the Browns, to the Indians, to the Cavs.  It also means being resilient and holding strong to our pride in the face of Chicago Bulls and Pittsburgh Steeler fanatics, and even uninspiring sports writers.

The Effect of a Cleveland Championship on the City's Psyche

I hope a supposition will suffice!  :-P

Sing it with me: "Cavs basketball, tonight's the night!" Uh, OK... "Cavs basketball, tomorrow night's the night!" Oh, well then.... "Cavs basketball, next year's the year." <REPEAT CHORUS>

"In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck

It would have just been nice to come out first for once.
