The foreground of these is the Harmonie Park part of downtown.  If Detroit ever makes a substantial comeback this little corner of downtown could be bit  like Garfield Place in Cincy or Rush Street in Chicago.  In fact this area was starting to see things happen, like on the ground floors shown here, turned into restaurants.
