Posted April 16, 200916 yr I promised myself when the weather got nice, I'd finally get around to taking pics of my neighborhood and sharing them here. The Glen Echo neighborhood is at the northernmost part of the University District in Columbus, north of Hudson Street, west of I-71 and east of Indianola Avenue. The tour takes you down Glen Echo Drive into the ravine and the park, the commercial areas along Hudson and Summit and some of the residential side streets. Hope you enjoy! It's really a wonderful place to live.

April 17, 200916 yr Columbus will look fantastic in a couple centuries when those ravines become valleys and becomes a 'hilly' city. Great photos and a beaut of a neighborhood.
April 17, 200916 yr I love Glen Echo park. The houses are fantastic. Awesome first post. Please stick around and help us promote, and represent for Columbus.

April 17, 200916 yr Excellent photo thread! Columbus is a great city with some very beautiful urban areas. I gained favor for it the last time I visited (and yes, I'm a Clevelander!). Great pics!
April 17, 200916 yr Welcome to the forum. Great post. Perfect time for photographing the houses before the trees leaf out. One of Columbus' best looking urban green spots.
April 17, 200916 yr Thanks for all the positive feedback! I'm guilty of being a long time lurker, but believe me, I really enjoy all the great photos I see on here. I'll try to contribute more frequently. Cheers!
April 18, 200916 yr Something really needs to be done about the abandonment of place-names in Columbus. Everybody knows German Village, Short North etc. and some people know Berwick, Linden, Beechwold and such, but most everything else is just called North/East/South/West Side today. It wasn't like that 50 years ago, but for some reason the media has almost erased those names. Cincy and Cleveland still recognize their neighborhoods; we need to get our neighborhood names out there.
