Posted May 4, 200916 yr I was bored out of my mind last night, so I decided to try my hand at creating one of those Facebook quizzes that everybody is doing. So here it is: Are you a true Cincinnatian? Check it out and let me know what you think.
May 4, 200916 yr I took it, and am officially a native Cincinnatian! lol There's some good questions there, but a lot of the questions have multiple answers that someone from Cincy could answer. The Graeters/UDF one comes to mind, as does the sports figure question. Over all, good quiz though. There is also a fb quiz called "what part of Cincinnati are you really from" and it's quite entertaining, and I know a ton of my friends have taken it.
May 4, 200916 yr Yeah, I had to have some answer choices that fell on a range, rather than being purely "right" or "wrong". For the purposes of the quiz, I considered Graeter's a step above UDF in terms of determining how much Cincy street cred you have. You have a link for the quiz you mentioned? Unfortunately, it doesn't seem possible to search Facebook quizzes.
May 4, 200916 yr Heh... Just found it. Apparently I'm an East Sider, which doesn't come as a shock at all. I was born in Mariemont but grew up in Fort Thomas, KY (a.k.a. "Cake Town", sort of like Northern Kentucky's answer to Mount Lookout or Hyde Park).
May 4, 200916 yr My results: Congrats! You're a true Cincinnati native. You probably remember Uncle Al and the Christmas display at Shillito's, you bleed Hudepohl beer, and you get dizzy and short of breath if you go more than a few days without your Skyline Chili fix. You can name every player on the Reds' starting lineup, and you're ever-hopeful that the Bengals may someday have a season in which they don't embarrass your hometown. You're outraged that Pete Rose isn't yet in the Hall of Fame, and you only buy P&G products on the cleaning supplies aisle at Kroger's.
May 4, 200916 yr "Hellllllllll yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah! West side best side. You're proud not to be one of those yuppie East side jerks. Besides, they've only been here for 2 generations anyway. Now go put on that 1988 AFC champions T-shirt and have a Hudy Delight." So funny thing is I actually own a 1988 AFC champs T-shirt, though I got it at a thrift store.
May 4, 200916 yr Don't think I should take it due to the fact that I've only lived in cinti for 3 years... Oh and on the ice cream... greaters is overpriced and overhyped... udf is nothing more than the average.. That's just my opinion... see not a loyal cincinnatian if even one at all!!
May 4, 200916 yr For some reason i didn't get a score just a Cincinnati Native. Oh not everyone goes to Kroger's.
