Geeked up on Chocolate and Sweeties, I continue down Market to the National Parks Service.  In this part of the city you’ll find the National Constitution Center, Independence Center, the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.

In the distance you see Nation Constitution Center.  I wasn’t walking over there, It was hot and I was sweating like an East German in a tanning booth!

The Bourse. The very first multi use exchange place.

Some ugly ass building that doesn’t fit into the area

Inside the Liberty Bell.

My nephew better appreciate the fact that I had to maneuver inside the place and threaten a bunch of Eurotrash to get a picture of this damn cracked bell for him!  Why do people park their stroller in front of the bell, take a picture with a SLEEPING kid in front of it then, walk away, leaving the stoller there while others are patiently awaiting their turn to snap a picture???  UGH!!!

So after all that, this is what I got.

Pissed of and heated, I make my way to Independence Hall.

A converstion on Sansom

Exterior of IH.  I would have taken more, but every time I turned around there was the Eurotrash crew joined by a group of Asian, the cockblocked almost every photo.

This was the only photo of Independence Square I got before cussing them all out and leaving.  OOO, they got my pressure up!

I wanted to take pictures of the rose garden, but those tacky ass Europeans, walked that way so I instead walked over to Washington Park.

Some nice residential units around the square.

I love these townhouses!

I continue west on Locust and stumble across this cute house.  It was being prepped for sale.  I wonder how long it will be on the market?

I looked over the wall and there is a great courtyard.  The parties one could have!

Across from that are some tacky project condos

I could look over into the postage stamp size backyards some units have.

The bars on the windows just threw me

Oh my….what’s this?  What a gorgeous little Alley.  Philly is filled with many little alley’s and courts.  Lets take a look-sie

Where's the Betsy Ross House?

She's on Arch (I think) and I didn't walk North.

yeah, it's been ages since I was there. I just remember how low the ceilings were. Nice neighborhood--Society Hill (and speaking of Eurotrash, I just walked through SoHo. What a nightmare! Go home, people!! Today's humidity doesn't help either).

looks like there is more.  thanks for these MTS.  We don't see enough Philly on here.

Awesome tour! Philly is great and one of my favorites.

yeah, very cool. i love tours like this, it's almost like we're walking along with whoever does the thread!

ok mts waiting on your harlemworld version next.....!

It's too much work.  I'll save one up for LaLa Land.

Awesome, Philly looks surprisingly comfortable.

I love me some sweet, narrow alleys!

I don't understand that new building they have with the Liberty Bell inside of it...it is oriented in a way to make Independence Hall the backdrop of the photos, but doesn't allow for one to fit the whole view into the frame.  I definitely understand your frustration about all the fools in front of the bell...get out of the way.

They alleys in Philly are amazing.  In the CBD area they offer great spots for local businesses to open up while the big chains take the main avenues.  They make for great pedestrian thoroughfares as well.  Gotta love Philly.
