Posted May 24, 200916 yr Here are photos of my walk in Carnegie, PA today. It is located only 5 miles west of Pittsburgh. It is one of my favorite towns outside of Pittsburgh. I use to work in this horrible office in Carnegie. Loved the town, but not the job. Sorry, I forgot about this board. I started on SSP, and always forget about here. I will post my threads here to if you dont mind. Thank you for looking at my thread.
May 24, 200916 yr Thanks for sharing those; the town looks good. There's a variety of interesting buildings and some great churches, and I like the murals a lot. Excellent photos!
May 24, 200916 yr I once went to an AutoCAD Architectural Desktop seminar provided by our dealer. I'm almost positive that their office was located here. But, we got there just in time for the seminar, and fled back to Youngstown afterward. Too bad we didn't stay to do some exploring...
May 24, 200916 yr Wow, so I just looked at this thread right after the Glasgow, Montana thread and this place looks like a paradise. Great shots. I'm surprised to not see many chains, considering it's a suburb. How close is the light rail?

May 25, 200916 yr Nice pics -thanks. Any idea what's with painting some of the light poles, etc. that godawful light blue? Or why a couple blocks have a ridiculous number of sidewalk posts? That's a hot mess. Interesting - that great old church has been converted into a restaurant, lounge, and event center: www.clubcefalo.com - warning: lounge lizard music!
