Oh, how I wish I had that behind MY house .. beautiful!!

Beautiful woods; I love walking in the woods on our farm in Spring before the mosquitoes take it over. It's marshy in spots, and two creeks flow together at one corner of it. The deer think it's their own place, and I've seen them often.

If I didn't have poison ivy right now I would say it looks beautiful.

If you're extremely sensitive to it as I am, and due for two weeks of seeping blisters, spreading rash, and all-night insane itching, see your doctor for a cortisone shot. That and some lotion will relieve your discomfort within 24 hours.

That used to be me. I never got shots though, they were oral meds. I hated taking steroids for it because they tasted terrible. Oatmeal baths were annoying and uncomfortable. I'd take caladryl and benadryl and everything else ending in dryl. I've only had blisters once and it was because one year I fed a billy goat poison ivy. I ripped the plant out with my hands and got huge blisters like an inch and a half thick on my fingers. I went to the doctor and they popped them with a needle; I could feel all the liquid running down my fingers and I passed out for like 10 seconds lol. Every year I get it but it seems like I'm slowly getting more and more immuned to it. Plus I'm much more sensitive to what it looks like and how to prevent getting it. I think this year it was airborn exposure. It isn't that bad and today I noticed it has dried up a lot.

Wow this is like the ultimate fantasy for my self at age 7. I used to loveee exploring the woods behind my house.

Back in the woods huffing ether and looking for smurfs were you?

I used to follow paths in my woods and pretend all of Ohio still looked like that.

Substitute ether with some elmers, and I'd say you're pretty spot on lol.
