Posted June 10, 200916 yr Not somewhere I would want to live, but still a nice little town (minus the sprawl that surrounds it).
June 10, 200916 yr Nice photo set. Worthington's colonial architecture isn't everyone's cup of coffee. But they've got some very well preserved historic buildings. The public spaces and streetscapes are high quality too. Lots of sidewalk dining. And the village green at High Street and Dublin-Granville Road is a handsome public space.
June 10, 200916 yr ^I was laughing when someone on here said it's Stepford. So true lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaXa8dXWv9U&feature=related
June 10, 200916 yr :-o I hope the settling has stopped. That's not settling, that's historic character. Actually, if you look at the windows, they are either high-quality replacements or very well restored originals. And it looks like they've been carefully rebuilt around the building's previous settling, er I mean historic character.
June 11, 200916 yr As far as suburbs go... Worthington ain't that bad. Granted, most of these shots appear to be from the historic district.
June 14, 200916 yr When I was a student at OSU, I always thought Worthington would be a great place to live in the future. While today it isn't my cup of tea as far as a place to settle down, I still think it's very charming and probably would be a great community to grow up in. Great photos! I actually drove through Worthington a week and a half ago. I almost stopped at Graeters for some ice cream, but I resisted the tasty but certainly fattening temptation.
