This place might have one redeeming point on a clear day...

I love those rural views of Columbus. I remember driving home from Recording Workshop in Chillicothe. I was in the middle of farm lands driving north on US 23, but I had a clear view of the Columbus skyline. It's like the city appears out of nowhere.

Ohmygosh! Would that little yellow carpenter gothic house be a fun project! It's almost certainly timber-framed with vertical board-and-batten siding under the icky yellow vinyl. Originally there would have been a porch, and note the door on the second floor that would have led out onto the porch roof.

Visualize the farm house in Grant Wood's American Gothic, only smaller.

I like Lithopolis. It's old and fairly unmolested.

Well.
