Kalorama Heights

Here is a neighborhood that  many are unfamiliar with.  Its located North of all the Embassies with Connecticut Avenue as its main artery.  Its characterized by many of the same row houses seen in Adams Morgan but a much high percentage of historic apartment buildings.

Great! Kalorama is so ritzy.

It is no Detroit-Shoreway.

Are you mocking the C-Town!?  ;)

My first visit to DC (as an adult) I got thoroughly lost in Kalorama Heights.  It's a beautiful neighborhood though, something DC abounds in.

My goodness this building is beautiful:

This building somewhat resembles the relatively famous Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, Los Angeles.

The entrance on that one building is incredible.  If only they could do that stuff today more often

Great ambiance.

That's the Watergate Hotel.

^No it's not.  The Watergate is in Foggy Bottom next to the Potomac.  That is the Hilton? (possibly Hyatt) Hotel in Dupont.

Oops.
