Anyone familiar with the Trek 7.1 FX? Looks like an all around nice bike. I don't plan on getting it anytime soon, but I like it. Seems like it's pretty good for commuting/urban and trail riding.

Good components, relatively light-weight frame that is ideal for paths and for commuting. I can't tell if it has pre-drilled holes for racks.

Yeah it seems like a good bike.  Hopefully I will be able to get this in a year or so.  I'm just starting to look around and I'm really liking what I'm seeing when I look at Trek.

If you click on the white finish image, you can see the pre-drilled bosses on the fork and rear dropouts (They can be used for fenders as well, and with long enough screws they can support a rack and fenders). Most likely if it has the ones on the fork and dropouts, it has the ones on the seat stays as well.
