We had perfect weather for a great event, here are some shots - and some happy summertime music from Sophie Ellis Bextor to go with them!

Across Professor Street, work continues in a former bank building which will be home to Dante (chef Dante Bocuzzi):

The steps at St. John Cantius are a popular spot to grab a seat:

Lovely day for a Guinness (or just about anything for that matter):

Sorry for the odd angle, I was able to get closer but didn't want to block the view for folks behind me:

Every proper chef has a good pair of clogs:

Fabulous weather, fabulous event! Hope you enjoyed - I sure did!

looks like it was a big success!

Thanks for the wife beater shot.

Cute, except the guy with the "jennifer aniston" nipple issue.

Great shots.

I love Symon's shirt!!

Good pics. Captuted the moment. Well, except around 4 when I got hungry and the lines were too long. Should have taken one of people double fisting food plates while standing in a 3rd line. Maybe next year we should keep this a secret so I can get some loaded nachos for gods sake.

Also of note, I got in on the $4 bag of books at the library sale. Even at the end it was full of good titles, none too old. I think I would go back just for that deal, I got like 10 books!

Great event!! I wish they had one every week or maybe just once a month!!

Great!

Great photos, lots of people having a good time, and a bit of eye candy thrown in!

Very nice!

Any idea how many people attended this year? Looks like a fantastic turnout.

Tremont's a great neighborhood. As I'm sure you already know. ;)

Looks like an excellent neighborhood.

Thanks for the pics!

And, YAY!!! The 80s are back....

Child the 80s aren't back, he just has no taste.  In addition, he receives two demerits - one for the "upturned collar" and one for the flip flops!

What's wrong with the flip flops??? I understand the popped collar is douchey, but I always wear my rainbows out. Am I committing some type of fashion crime lol

You're not serious are you?  Flip flops are just trashy to me.

They should be banned and anyone caught wearing them, outside of their shower or within close proximity to a beach, should be stoned to death!

Flip flops...puh-lease

Ooooohhhhh what is going to be done with the old bank vault and the vault door in Dante??

And i want Michael Symons "We've got Rockefellers bones" shirt. Anyone know where i can pick one up?

Damn right.  I was working the taps from 4:30 onward.

Great crowd overall, and boy were you all thirsty.  We were down to only one spare keg by the end of Taste, having utterly kicked the Grassroots and quite nearly out of Independence Ale.

Nice shots! It looks like fun.

The flipped up collar wasn't good in the 80's and it is not good now! However, I've got no problems with flip flops or "nipple man."

You live in/on a beach enviornment.  Where you live flip flops are culturally acceptable.  I still hate them!  Nipple man, eh.  If he's your type.  Don't get me started that collar!  ;)

Flip flops/mandals and a popped collar are both off limits to me, regardless of where im at. Even if im at the beach id rather walk barefooted from the car/apartment/condo than wear flips flops. I dont have a problem with them but their just not my style.

Is there any chance this could potentially become a Saturday-Sunday event or held more than once over the summer?  There were more food places that I wanted to try but couldn't because I didn't have enough time.

Might I suggest, dropping a note to the organizers.

Man, I sure started a shitstorm with that 80s comment! HEHAHA  storm.gif

If it was Christmas every day of the year... It just wouldn't be Christmas.

Thats the second time this week that smile's made an appearance!

I love it!

Since I was in Cleveland for the weekend with some guests, I got to go to the Taste of Tremont for the first time.  It was much bigger than I had imagined and very well attended.  Since the lines for food were a bit long and we couldnt decide, so we drank instead!:drunk: It was a great time.

I did see some familiar faces including the ones below with their back to me.  Can anyone help me out here.  Its obvious the one in the tank top is some sort of body builder :-D.
