November 7, 200519 yr I would agree with Clermont County. In fact, that might be my cousin. (The boy that is)
November 7, 200519 yr How can you not click on this when you have a subject with that name!! Some people like girls on trampolines, others........ :-P
November 7, 200519 yr Best thing about this photo is that it looks like there's an abundance of goat terds also hopping on the trampoline!
February 15, 200619 yr I read the title of this thread and I had to do a double-take!!!!! I know how to get the goat off the trampoline: :shoot: Just Kidding :-D
February 15, 200619 yr I think i saw that story on the news. The family's appeal has been in the news lately, but when they discuss the story they aren't running that photo with it. And that to me, is the real injustice.
July 14, 200618 yr A friggin goat...on a trampoline. I don't believe it. I couldn't have put it better myself...
July 14, 200618 yr As I sit here before my computer, I am gripped by the unshakable realization that this thread, ultimately, is the very reason for which the internet was created. Good work guys! It's been a fun. I can't possibly imagine where we can go from here, but I look forward to finding out.
July 14, 200618 yr ^ i thought porn was the reason gore invented the internet? snakes on a plane vs goat on a trampoline? i can't decide. ah ok, i'll go with billy the goat.
July 14, 200618 yr What's NOT pornographic about a goat on a trampoline? "I'm Al Gore, and I approve this thread."
July 14, 200618 yr ^ i thought porn was the reason gore invented the internet? snakes on a plane vs goat on a trampoline? Hehe
July 14, 200618 yr After seeing a preview for Snakes on a Plane (during the All-Star Game). I have a bad feeling that this movie is going to crash and burn. Looks too much like a horror flick than a comedy or dram-edy.
July 14, 200618 yr Glad I'm not the only one who made a Snakes on a Plane/Goat on a Trampoline connection in my mind!
July 14, 200618 yr Snakes on a Plane--I thought this was a joke. How could you actually give such a name to a movie?!
July 14, 200618 yr Listen: enough about Snakes on a Plane. This thread is about a goat on a trampoline, okay? Either stay on topic or start a new thread. Jeez. You try to have a serious conversation about urban issues and people come along and hijack the discussion. Like the hijackers in Snakes on a Plane. Like, there's this shipment of drugs? And also there's this cargo of deadly snakes? And they're on a plane, see? And they get loose? And then in the trailer? There's this one part where Samuel Jackson says--
July 14, 200618 yr ^ I don't know what they are putting in the water on the other side of High St., but I want some...
July 14, 200618 yr ^ I blame the rolling blackouts. No juice last Friday in the afternoon. None two nights ago starting at 11PM. Do you guys get those? Something's telling me Italian Village wasn't originally wired for my neighbor's plasma screen jacuzzi. As for the water, come to think of it we WERE without water for a few hours yesterday... But back to goats on trampolines...
July 14, 200618 yr ...mother "ef" the goats, i wanna talk about the mother ef'in snakes on the mother ef'in plane.
July 14, 200618 yr Maybe "Goats on a Trampoline" can be there sequel to Erin Brockovich were Julia Roberts takes on the Miami Twp Zoning Board and brings them and their corrupt ways to their knees. Of couse Samuel L Jackson will make a cameo at the town council meeting where he is able to say something along the lines of,"we got motha-effing snakes on the zoning commission, what the eff is wrong with letting a little boy having his motha-effing goat on a trampoline". Or not :|

Something's telling me Italian Village wasn't originally wired for my neighbor's plasma screen jacuzzi. As for the water, come to think of it we WERE without water for a few hours yesterday... But back to goats on trampolines... We never really lose power... we have Columbus Electric. Do you use them or AEP? And yes, this is relevant to the goat on the trampoline.
July 14, 200618 yr ^AEP, and you can pretty much figure my opinion of them. But the sooner they upgrade to trampoline-enabled goat-powered turbines, the better for us.
July 14, 200618 yr so anybody remember that "all your base are belong to us" nonsense that was all over the internet a few years ago? well it's back and it's 100% goat-free fools! presenting "all your snakes are belong to us" -- clik it on & crank it up: http://www.popoholic.com/2006/07/12/snakes-on-a-muthan-plane/
July 14, 200618 yr Did anyone actually read the attached news article with the thread??? This whole story is regoddamndiculous!!! The boy/family say the goat has cured the boy of his ADHD symptoms. What ever happened to medication. But beyond that the family already has an entire damn farm of animals living in their subdivision. No, the township says, they're a violation of zoning code, which clearly defines "household pets'' as dogs, cats, birds, snakes of less than 6 feet, mice, gerbils, ferrets, hamsters, minks, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, lizards, iguanas and pot-bellied pigs. How can you not abide to these loose guidelines about the kinds of pets you can have...its silly! What is even more silly is that the online poll with this article had an overwhelming majority (82%) in favor of the family keeping the goat even with it in zoning code violation and declared a nuisannce with neighborhoods. They even said that the goat used to walk to the bus stop with the boy every morning......IF YOU WANT A FARM...GO TO THE DAMN COUNTRY, AND HAVE ALL OF THE DAMN GOATS YOU WANT!!!! On another note: it is funny to see the goat jumping on the trampoline!
July 14, 200618 yr The news article really needs to be Samuel L. Jacksonified... Hell no, the township says, they're a violation of the motherf***in' zoning code, which clearly defines "household pets'' as dogs, cats, birds, snakes of less than 6 feet, mice, gerbils, ferrets, hamsters, minks, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, lizards, iguanas and pot-f***in'-bellied pigs. No motherf***in' goats on motherf***in' trampolines! As Township Administrator David Duckworth put it: "If your dumb ass lives in a subdivision, if you buy a house, do you want motherf***in' goats in your neighbor's motherf***in' back yard?''
July 15, 200618 yr ^ Lmao I read that whole thing with Samuel L Jackson's loud voice playing in my head. It was hysterical.
July 15, 200618 yr I thought goats were permitted in R3 zoning as long as they were no closer than 6 feet from the property line or a minimum of 12 feet from the nearest adjoining structure, excepting a 250' buffer zone for any adjoining and conforming tin can factories.
August 17, 200618 yr Settlement allows boy to keep his goats BATAVIA, Ohio (AP) A 13-year-old boy can keep the two goats he uses to help treat his attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, under a settlement with a township that claimed the animals violated zoning codes. David Valentine jumps on a trampoline with his goats a 3-year-old caramel pygmy named D.J. and a 2-year-old American Alpine named Blessing and lets them in the house to watch television. His family also has dogs, rabbits, a cat and a guinea pig at their home in Miami Township, about 20 miles east of Cincinnati, but only the goats help David manage his disorder, said his mother, Patty Valentine. Township officials filed a lawsuit against the family in December 2004 to try to force them to remove the goats. Neighbors also complained about the animals. According to the settlement approved Wednesday by Clermont County Common Pleas Judge William Walker, David can keep the goats until he turns 18, graduates from high school or doesn't need them for therapy anymore. The family has to provide the township each year with a doctor's statement that the goats are necessary to the boy's treatment. The family also must maintain a fence at least 6 feet high, which was installed in February. Township trustees approved the settlement in a 2-1 vote. Mary Makley Wolff, who voted against the agreement, said trustees were told the first goat was for a 4-H project, and only later did the family reveal the animals were needed for therapy. Wolff said she also was troubled that the agreement allows a goat to be replaced if it dies. "I was concerned about the precedent we're setting when we allow multiple farm animals in people's yards," she said. David has said that the goats are like a kid with ADHD. "They don't really listen very well," the boy said last year. "That's kind of like me."
