The old factory here was on Cleveland's Scranton Peninsula.

The bridge here, etc. were on Scranton Peninsula. Theye were demolished in the early or mid 1990s.

Thanks!

I love the shadow of Tower City on the BP building!

Hmmm..where was I on this day? I think I was working downtown and taking the bus to and from work. I lived on Madison at the time (Lakewood) Loved that time!

I was working on the 19 floor of the SOHIO Building.  That was my first job as Media Relations Coordinator.  Ah...memories....

^ I was having my third birthday party on this day.

The Browns were in the playoffs! Anyone remember the Clay Mathews interception against Buffalo? There was actually a time I was a big fan.. I can take it or leave it now, and am thankful!

quite some gloomy pictures...

But those are sometimes the best Cleveland pics

Awesome!  Bummer that the old factory and railroad bridge were demoed...that's the stuff that makes the flats special.

Ahh...The good ole' days of Cleveland.

Actually, I went to the MNF game in October that year against Da Bears. I was 15 and that was my very first Browns game. We sat in the Dawgpound and I believe we won 27-7.

My Orange and Brown blood is still flowing to this day but it's getting very thin.

I remember that! I was listening to it on the radio in my apartment (Lakewood) It was a really nice late summer night...and shows like The Wonder Years, Roseanne, and Doogie Howser MD were all premiering!
