Posted July 27, 200915 yr grapevine, texas (pop 48, 600; 32 square miles + a lake) It’s a dfw suburban main street town next to the airport the town newspaper’s supercute office free masons rule the world! :laugh: theaters -- they appeared to fancy themselves a bit of an arts town town hall/courthouse -- sorry the light was against me Historic house on their main st town square (1845) read all about it peeking inside, sorry about the plastique panel glare the construction is interesting yup I liked this building, it was the old general store, then a pharmacy, now some suburbanish something i went back at night once too umm, what else? i read bonnie & clyde killed a couple coppers here and jack ruby owned a few cottages. oh, and they also had seriously thee biggest outlet mall I have ever seen next to our hotel http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grapevine_Mills *** So there you have your suburban grapevine, texas… …Aka…! :laugh: hey, they walked right into that one,didn't they? :lol: ***

July 27, 200915 yr Oh lawd! I've been to the Gaylord, while there was a christian convention. All I could say was, "Oh Laaawd". Those, bible thumpin' hillbillies got on my last nerve and I was drinking coffee back then!
July 28, 200915 yr Wow. Great pictures, but that town is disgusting on almost every level imaginable. Reeks of old cheap tex-Mex food (yes, I can smell the stentch from here)
