Posted July 29, 200915 yr Here and There Part 1 Part 2 There is a pretty sweet Vietnamese store down the street from here (across from 55th Pl and Detroit) that sells Pocky for $0.99! Cool new benches The Tunnel of Doom, seriously, this tunnel needs new lights and to be cleaned up. I'm on a boat! Dogs...oh and their owner. His camouflage almost fooled me! On the train...something the other C's don't have :-P University Circle On the Healthline Lookin good! Overall, it was a good trip and I can't wait to go back. My friend really likes Cleveland and commented on how friendly the people were.
July 29, 200915 yr Wow, did you get around or what? Great shots from so many places! :-) clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram

July 29, 200915 yr Great tour! The photos are beautiful with good attention to details, and you got some good stuff that doesn't catch most people's eye. In the first set, the yellow Carpenter Gothic house with all the elaborate gingerbread is yummy!
July 29, 200915 yr you sure got around. nice work. man, the terminal tower is looking super blinding clean.
July 30, 200915 yr Thanks! great shots! I'm glad you got a couple of the detroit shoreway streetscape project I was by there the other day and it is really coming along. Yeah it is, I really like the new benches. Also, the wires are going underground, right? In the first set, the yellow Carpenter Gothic house with all the elaborate gingerbread is yummy! I like that yellow cottage as well. I love the lake shots. Thanks, those views are what makes Edgewater such an awesome park.
July 30, 200915 yr Btw, next time you're in town - check out Asiatown; there are at least five places that sell Pocky, including the regular version, the "men's" version, and almond/chocolate :-) clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
July 30, 200915 yr ^What are the borders of Asiatown? I thought I went through there before (down Superior and around Tyler Village) but I didn't see very many stores/restaurants (but the one I remember the most was that general store across from Tyler Village).
July 30, 200915 yr http://www.asiatowncleveland.com/ Look under "Markets" and find Tink Holl and Park2Shop - those definitely have Pocky: http://www.asiatowncleveland.com/shopping.asp clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
July 30, 200915 yr ^Thanks, hopefully I can make it there next time I am in town. Btw, the comment about the Pocky was more about its price. In Mansfield, Pocky is like $1.20 for a small pack, but in Cleveland (at least at the store I went to) it was $0.99 for a large pack.
July 30, 200915 yr Great pics. Thanks! "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
