Posted July 29, 200915 yr This Clintonville sub-neighborhood is the most surprising out of the ravine neighborhoods. There are two sections south off of Cooke Rd, one west and one east. Modest homes line the outskirts of the ravine while larger, fancier homes tend to be nestled in the greenery. I felt like I was in a state park, not a just neighborhood off of High St. It was quite a bit more woodsy than I imagined. MAP Just a reminder that this is Columbus: Cyclists! (sorry, bad quality) For numerous shots you have to squint to see the house. I'm guessing this little Usonian home got separated from the pack up in Rush Creek Village and settled here. My attempt at a nature shot foiled by a rustling breeze. On the way out of the ravine.

July 30, 200915 yr A little bit of the Hocking Hills in the City of Columbus. I'd like to live in a place like this, but the walkability is pretty crappy.
July 30, 200915 yr Great chronical of the sub-neighborhoods along the ravines in Clintonville. Absolutely love these places and the fact that they exist so close to High St. and Indianola.
August 1, 200915 yr Fantastic and secluded...very lush.. Stream is incredible... Looks well buffered. Hopefully Chem Lawn, etc. won't ruin it. These streams are full of a lot more life than meets the eye.
