On 42 Street at 1 Avenue, looking west toward New Jersey.

Tudor City.  The Shaker Boulevard of Manhattan, although not as nice - by any stretch of the imagination.  The buildings are nice but have been neglected and they are still asking ridiculous prices for units.

The front of the buildings resemble Shaker Courts

The back of the buildings is hideous, considering they have a unobstructed view of Brooklyn and Queens.

The apartment with the trees, was my first choice of home, since the block reminds me of Shaker.  Unfortunately the price for the unit  - in the state it was in - was insulting.

It cost $80 bucks to send the rug rats to the top.  Extortion at it's finest.

I haven't been on a Path Train in 10 years.  What an improvement!

Next up Hoboken.

Nice, you got one of the new PA-5 PATH trains. I think there's only one or two in service so far.

Thank you!!!  I miss it.  I can't believe that I have only been there once since I moved to PA.  I'm looking forward to the Hoboken thread.

Classic views! If I were forced to choose just one skyscraper as my favorite, I'd probably go for the Chrysler Building.

Chrysler Building #1.  Cleveland Union Terminal #2.  End of list.

Nice pics, I love the Chrysler building.
