July 31, 200915 yr I also like the processed look. It makes an otherwise common shot look interesting. I just wish it had more of the skyline in it.
August 5, 200915 yr It looks like a hand-painted postcard, and this particular angle shows the trees on the riverbank. I like it.
August 6, 200915 yr It was HDR'ed... There is a limit to what one can do with HDR, which is an attempt to try to capture the full dynamic range of a digital camera, but almost always fails to do just that. I suppose I'm just an old school photographer :D
August 6, 200915 yr It is too much HDR. Turn down the settings a little bit until the "glow" around the buildings is gone, and remember that the sky should always be brighter than anything in the middle or foreground. I used to do a lot of HDR's but have since fallen back to layering different exposures in Photoshop and erasing various overexposed/underexposed portions at different opacities. You can use quick masks to select the areas you'll be erasing. I've found it works a lot better.
