Would be of great help if anyone with the originals of the listed to contact me through email [email protected].
August 6, 200915 yr Anyone own original Manson albums/singles from 88's onwards? Onwards? None of those tunes make any sense when listened to onwards, only backwards. Oh you said Marilyn Manson -- I thought you meant Charles Manson. :-D "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
August 6, 200915 yr haha. I really need help tracking down the original tape demos. Reason im asking here is because Brian was born in this area and I assume maybe older people would have their copies put away or in the back of drawers sitting in dust.
August 7, 200915 yr Meh, its the novility to me. But seriously, is there anyone who possibly has the original demo tapes or might know of someone older around that time who would?
August 7, 200915 yr While I love metal, I never liked Manson. I always felt like he was trying too hard. Then I saw his high school pic on some TV show, and that confirmed it. High school dork who's trying to remake himself into something edgy. (not that I have anything against high school dorks, mind you...I played tuba in the high school band. I epitomize high school dork) Sorry, I don't have anything relating to that stuff.
August 7, 200915 yr I think Manson was really important at a time (mid-'90s) when mainstream rock n' roll had gotten too "normal" with bands such as Bush, Live and the dreaded Matchbox 20.
August 7, 200915 yr Not to mention a brilliant self-promoter. It's hard to remember how up-in-arms he had the Morality Police. Pure marketing gold.
August 8, 200915 yr Yeah he was pretty important at that time, but its pretty amazing (desite how many dislike his music/ appearance) how someone can start off small an make such a big name of themselves along with the millions.
