... and an Edsel, a Rambler station wagon, and a Plymouth station wagon!

I was wondering if anyone was going to ID some of that vintage Detroit iron (thanks Rob!).  I recognized the very recognizable Edsel, and there is that Ford Fairlane (?) next to it (I can tell its a Ford at least).  Looks like maybe an older Oldsmobile or Buick behind the Plymouth.  And maybe another Ford facing the Rambler.

 

 

I see many of these parking lots these days only a third full...  If only they'd built parking decks think of the permeable ground surface that could have been maintained to absorb water from rains...instead of it all running off into storm drains, then to the river...carrying a myriad of pollutants. I like the 60's signage of plazas like this... It was really fun!
