Posted August 12, 200915 yr Capitol Hill is located southeast of Downtown Denver and covers about 80 blocks. It is Denver's most dense neighborhood, residential wise, and has a wide mix of architectural styles and design. The neighborhood is very pedestrian focused with the streets covered in tree canopies. Its a great urban neighborhood that alive and growing. Hope you enjoy. Governor's Mansion.
August 12, 200915 yr Great photos. A close friend of mine is a Curate (assistant priest) at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral: I spent a weekend in Denver last January for his ordination, and most my time was spent in/around the Capitol Hill neighborhood. He lives only a couple blocks away from the cathedral... I'm pretty sure it's in one of the buildings shown in your photos, but I'm not 100% certain. My memories from the weekend are a bit fuzzy. We had some mutual friends in town for the occasion as well, and they stayed in this bed & breakfast. As such, it became ground zero for celebrations following the ordination service. Generous quantities of alcohol were consumed by Episcopal clergy and laity in this establishment's living room.

August 12, 200915 yr In the NEIGHBORHOOD, platano! I just wanted to be clear, sucio! You're the platano! I didn't think you could cross the threshold of a "religious house of worship" anyway. lol
August 13, 200915 yr Denver seems like a place where the east meets the west architecturally. Very cool.
