Been trying to get some photos of cities around Michigan near where I grew up before I move.  There will likely be a Saginaw/Bay City tour if I can make some time.

I was in Saginaw and Flint this morning getting photos (threads eventually); downtown Flint was in much better shape than I expected.

You should have called me up, I have keycard access to the tops of a few buildings.  Did you hit up Bay City?

Wow! Those shots really paint a different picture of Flint than I think the majority of America probably has. It looks much cleaner and more vibrant than I expected.

Thanks for the pics.  Lived in Fenton and Linden for a while and used to go to Flint all the time.  Graduated from Kettering too!  You really did put some lipstick on it that's for sure. It never looked like that to me!  Good job! 

Some magnificent buildings there. Sure doesn't look like the thoroughly downtrodden, dying city I've heard about!
