Posted August 24, 200915 yr What did you guys think about this movie? Very gory and funny at times but I liked it.
August 24, 200915 yr Amazing film. I saw it at the Arclight here in LA, and for the first time in my life I witnessed people applaud multiple times throughout the course of the movie. Granted, they take film a little too seriously out here, and the Arclight epitomizes this.
August 25, 200915 yr It was probably my second favorite QT film and certainly one of the best of the year. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers

I preferred this one over Pulp Fiction, personally. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
September 11, 200915 yr Alright so I finally saw it last night. I loved it. My theatre also had applause throughout.
September 14, 200915 yr I think is my favorite QT film, and maybe my favorite of the year so far. I loved every minute.
September 16, 200915 yr This movie sucked big time. Although I'm a big QT fan, I could tell this one was gonna be a bomb months before it came out. Why? Because good movies don't need any advertising. This movie had advertising weeks and weeks before it came out. Always pay attention to that. If it's a good movie, they will not advertise it very much. Word of mouth will suffice. If it's bad, they will advertise the hell out of it.

September 16, 200915 yr This movie sucked big time. thats telling em! Although I'm a big QT fan, I could tell this one was gonna be a bomb months before it came out. Why? Are you in the movie industry? Every movie has to have multi platform marketing. Every movie needs and must have advertsing up until a minimum of 10 days after release. If it's a bomb, marketing will stop. If it's a success you'll see newer spots.
September 17, 200915 yr Cat Patrol, you say you're a big Quentin Tarantino fan; did you like Kill Bill? Because that movie(s) had a HUGE marketing campaign behind it. Must mean it sucked, right? Oh, how about Grindhouse? I remember seeing ads all over TV and the internet for months leading up to its release. I guess that was a dud, too. Hey Cat Patrol, have you seen Jackie Brown? I distinctly remember commericals with the iconic image of Pam Grier walking toward the camera in the airport, with all of the acclamations from film critics flashing across the screen. Man, I guess that means Jackie Brown was a crappy movie.
