I barely get out to take photos around town, these were all taken in about 90 minutes on 8/26/09.

15. Hughs High School & Deaconess Hospital, in my opinion one of the city's best city blocks:

Great set of photos, specifically the Hughes/Deaconess shot.  I don't think I've ever seen, or at least appreciated, that angle before.

nice walk around. the only bummer at all was one unfortunate bugly infill apt in the middle of #5. loving the banks bonus at the end. they are really going to town down there.

i know everybody's busy, but you really need to do this much more often!

Thanks!

Yeah, the turret is out of proportion for that infill condo. These days whenever something needs a "signature" flourish, they always mess it up.

Same thing with the center loop thing at the Stratford Heights apartments, which look a lot better in this photo than they do in real life, since they slope down awkwardly from the university.

Very Nice Set!!!

Walked by this last night. I'm amazed its come this far so quickly.

Wonderful set!

^.  I'd I'm with Sherman, they got far quick on that building.

Amazing.  I love how Cincinnati's geography creates some interesting viewpoints above all that nice architecture.

Very good.  Thanks for taking these!

Awesome thread.  I loved evening light on all of the older buildings.  My friend and I are thinking of driving out to King's Island sometime in the near future so maybe I'll finally see Cincinnati..

Great photos... You should get out around town more often!

So was I! Surprised I didn't see you.

OMG, I love the shots.  OTR looks fantastic in that evening light.  I really love both of the infill buildings.  They're contemporary and match the proportions of the neighborhood.  That's all they need to do, in my opinion.  Postmodern attempts at replicating 18th Century buildings always look cheap to me.  These make it look like things are progressing.

Thanks for that photo of the new infill building on the east side of the street at 14th & Vine.  I'll get to check it out on Tuesday, but I had not seen a progress photo in sometime.  It's really coming along.

This one is probably my favorite of the bunch though (also like the Rohs Street shot a lot):

Tucker's!  Those Stratford Heights apartments are a travesty, though.  I really like 12 and 17.
