Wages in Ohio were heading down before recession hit, report shows

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Even if you have a job, this Labor Day may not feel like a celebration, according to an annual report to be released Sunday.

 

Policy Matters Ohio, a policy research group, says:

 

• Ohio's median hourly wage, at $15.04, is 70 cents less than the national median -- the largest gap ever.
