September 8, 200915 yr Neat photos. When I was going to school at OU last year I used to go to Columbus a lot. The stadium always looked impressive as they were building it, even more so now that it's done. That Dispatch newspaper sign on top of the scoreboard looks stupid though. The one saying "Clippers rejoice..."
September 8, 200915 yr Thanks! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
September 9, 200915 yr Such a nice little park and a fantastic addition to downtown. Now let's get the Crew down there. Oh, to dream...
September 9, 200915 yr Neat! Ballparks are tops among ways to get people having summertime fun downtown.
September 9, 200915 yr Looks nice. I'm too lazy to look...are the Dayton Dragons in the same league as them?
September 9, 200915 yr Great photo set c-dub. The Huntington's layout easily allows for strolling around the ballpark and finding all these different angles. All this and dime-a-dog night too! EDIT: "strolling" not "scrolling" as I originally typed. I've been editing way too many posts to remove newspaper content lately. I've got scrolling on the brain. :-(
September 10, 200915 yr Thanks for the nice comments. These pictures didn't come without a price though. I caught a nasty cold afterwords. Nothing that moms homemade chicken soup can't fix!
September 10, 200915 yr It's like I was there! Have you been to Betty's? No not the Short North one, this one captures the small town bar feel and is just adjacent to the stadium and across the street from those fancy Buggyworks condos.
September 12, 200915 yr Looks like a nice ballpark...love the incorporation of the building in left field, and the skyline views beyond the outfield wall.
September 18, 200915 yr Columbus just keeps getting nicer and nicer... such an amazing addition to downtown.
October 7, 200915 yr Damn that is one nice stadium. Good for Columbus for putting it in the downtown area. Hell, I might go to a game next year. Great views of the skyline too!!
January 12, 201015 yr I love Huntington Park, it's a perfect addition to the Arena District. The Hall of Fame bar/restaurant on the second floor of the AEP Power Pavilion is a must-see.
