Ahh, Pasquales...spent a number of evenings there during my time at Otterbein. I was a freshman when Old Bag opened and remember how big of a deal it was that Westerville was finally getting a place that served alcohol. Spent many of nights there as well (and one in that lovely police station you photographed)...

Another great set of photos.  Thanks for sharing. 

 

The stately school at the end of the set is on the National Historic Register as the Vine Street School.  However, its now part of the Westerville School System as the Emerson Elementary Magnet School.

great set showing my old work stomping grounds. looks great along that stretch as always.

 

you know given the historic temperance history i am still p'od they finally allowed alcohol "uptown." however, the facts is that argument had been going on for a long time. there was a heck of a lot of pressure from all the new suburban boomtown newbies to allow the booze to flow there -- and so they finally caved. ah well. it sure doesnt look look like pottersville quite yet!  :laugh:
