September 19, 200915 yr Well, we have plenty of opportunity for this downtown on those oceans of pavement.
September 21, 200915 yr i saw a (park)ing day setup near us in manhattan friday. it was in chelsea on 8th ave just below 18th street. they had the astroturf and the lounge chairs out, it was pretty cool. it seemed dangerous in that particular spot with the cars zooming by and rush hour starting, in fact it started to make me nervous looking at it (we were in a cafe by the window), but they took it down quickly as the sun was setting.
September 21, 200915 yr There were 5 or 6 locations throughout Cincy for PARK[ing] Day. UrbanCincy was blogging live from their spot in Over-the-Rhine.
