Cleveland's aerial photos on google maps has been updated.  Check it out.

OMG my house finally exists!!!!  Hahaha!

 

EDIT:  Those pictures aren't actually all that new.  The rock piles are still there!

Now I want to know when we are getting the photo-realistic 3D building layer in Google Earth.

Google is still using the spring 2004 aerials in Mahoning County/Youngstown.  They should be updating to the spring 2008 aerials soon.

Who the hell changed the name of the Cuyahoga River to "Bridge Creek"?

LOL I just checked that out for myself. looks like "Cuyahoga River" has returned, but its in a smaller font next to "Bridge Creek" in map view. I dont see any labels on it in the satellite view now.
