Posted October 1, 200915 yr I am new to the area and want a good salon that is reasonably priced but does a GREAT job! I looked on kudzu cleveland, but it doesn't seem many people use that site. There were no reviews. Hope this is an appropriate topic for this board. Not very intelligent or thought provoking;)
October 1, 200915 yr Laura Lee on Coventry gets a lot of very positive reviews. Personally, I like Salon Zen on West 25th in Ohio City (but that's on the near west side).

There were no reviews. Hope this is an appropriate topic for this board. Not very intelligent or thought provoking;) How much exactly are you talking for a reasonable price? I've been a loyal customer of Ladies and Gentlemen Salon and Spa (Legacy Village) for the past several years. The stylists listen to what you want - no one has ever experimented with my hair against my will there like other places. That being said, I pay $50 for a haircut because I've stuck with the same stylist through a couple promotions. Their lowest level of stylists costs $30 for a haircut, and I started out with that level, and it was just fine. They actually DON'T accept tips, so it's just the flat rate. It's an Aveda salon, so all their stylists go through their own academy. Let me know if you have any other questions!
October 1, 200915 yr Just check the offerings in downtown Chagrin Falls. For the eastside of Cuyahoga Cty ,downtown Chagrin falls has probably the best of a lot of stuff... everything from a haircut to clothes to food.
October 1, 200915 yr Thanks for the suggestions! Going to see Ladies and Gentlemen at Legacy Village on Sunday! It seems like my Atlanta kind of place:)
October 1, 200915 yr There is one in Ohio City... some independent ones in Lakewood and a host of barber shops in the city...actually, barbers know their cuts on guys better than any styling salons.

October 1, 200915 yr Why is that? It is funny how different it is down South. They have legacy village like places everywhere!
October 1, 200915 yr ^ That's because the population of the Sun Belt (i.e. South and Southwest USA) keeps increasing , so there is a constant demand for more and more of that. The population up here (Northern USA) keeps decreasing...unfortunately
October 1, 200915 yr Because Legacy Village is a pale imitation of neighborhood retail or small town downtowns- exactly the type of place that the average suburban shopper abandoned, so they could go to that pale imitation of it in the suburbs.
October 1, 200915 yr like I said earlier... Eventually try out Chagrin. They know how to do it up right out there. And it's in a real downtown setting , albeit c.1880s
October 1, 200915 yr ^ Yeah. For a haircut. They've got the best places (for the eastside---which includes the eastside suburbs)

October 1, 200915 yr There are a couple around Cedar/Fairmount... Did someone mention the place on Coventry? Sorry about the double post.
