October 14, 200915 yr Great pics...don't recognize it without snow. I spend my winters there now. Got some shots of the Ambassador (Great pizza), "The Library" restaurant...one of the best places in town to grab dinner and Cyberia coffee. I get to look out my hotel room every day and see Quincy Smelter. There is a group trying to save the place, but I bet it has TONS of nasty chemicals leeched into the ground on the site.
October 14, 200915 yr Interesting looking place. The dilapidated riverfront buildings look neat, but not good for the town, obviously.
October 14, 200915 yr Holy crap do the streets look brighter. Many used to be entirely enclosed (like tunnels) with skywalks zig-zagging a cross. It would make urban planners cry. The street would get so dark and ugly during the winters. What a change.
