Gardner is "The Furniture Capital of New England" and has a nice downtown with dense, curvy streets. We went for dinner at Gardner Ale House and I got the Chair City pale ale, which is brewed on site and is the nickname of Gardner, apparently. Night shots are never easy without a tripod, but most came out pretty nicely and show the city in a good light.

Here I am plotting my next obscure, Ohio-town troll job.

You're welcome! I literally ran around town taking pictures while my brother and his girlfriend were waiting for the check since they didn't want to walk around.

Ha, no way; never thought I would see this town on here. That is the pub I go drinking in when I'm over in the U.S of A. It's actually pretty good, although there is a pub in Ashburham now so my allegiance will probably switch there.

Oh, we UOers get around. I have threads for Fitchburg, Leominster, and Lancaster on here also. Central Mass is probably the most overlooked region in New England, but I like it. If I were you, I'd stick with Gardner (wish I had more time to explore) or Fitchburg for better ambiance than Ashburnham, since they're nearby and in any case the place in Gardner brews some good beer on the premises. I did find it strange that there's really no late night eats in these parts aside from fast-food chains, that was my biggest gripe. You'd think a population of 20-40,000 could support one local late night place, but I digress.

Wow, that's a cool little town.

Nice!
