Clermont County elections director Judy Miller wants more people to vote by mail rather than in person to cut down on the spread of illness, particularly the H1N1 flu. Data collected by the Enquirer show more voters in Greater Cincinnati are indeed voting early, or at least requesting the ballots to vote. Nearly 60,000 people, or about 5.4 percent of registered voters in Southwest Ohio have already requested ballots so they can vote early for the Nov. 3 election.
