Posted October 27, 200915 yr As requested, Roseville is one of Ohio's most famous pottery towns. At the turn of the century, Ohio had three main names in pottery: Roseville, Rockwood, and Weller. Interestingly, Roseville Pottery was only located in the village from 1892 until 1900, when it moved to Zanesville; the company closed their factory in Roseville in 1910 and survived until 1954. http://www.gustavstickley.com/roseville-pottery.html Brush Pottery will soon be demolished using Clean Ohio funds.

October 27, 200915 yr Is this that town that supposedly has an airraid siren powered by an old German Messerschmidt engine? I refuse to go to that crazy siren forum posted here a few years back.
October 28, 200915 yr Since we are close to Halloween, Roseville is also home to the old Roseville prison (I believe it was a state prison). It is supposed to be one of the most haunted places in Ohio. Nice pics.
October 28, 200915 yr Good Stuff.... I looked up Weller on google maps and it showed up as a point. But there was no name of Weller on the map. Does Weller still exist?
