As requested, Roseville is one of Ohio's most famous pottery towns. At the turn of the century, Ohio had three main names in pottery: Roseville, Rockwood, and Weller.

Interestingly, Roseville Pottery was only located in the village from 1892 until 1900, when it moved to Zanesville; the company closed their factory in Roseville in 1910 and survived until 1954.

So THAT'S what it looks like.

Is this that town that supposedly has an airraid siren powered by an old German Messerschmidt engine? I refuse to go to that crazy siren forum posted here a few years back.

I wouldn't want to live there; I don't think I could stand the excitement!  :|

Since we are close to Halloween, Roseville is also home to the old Roseville prison (I believe it was a state prison). It is supposed to be one of the most haunted places in Ohio.

Nice pics.

Good Stuff....  I looked up Weller on google maps and it showed up as a point.  But there was no name of Weller on the map.  Does Weller still exist?
