I was wondering if anyone knew how to find out when the Urban Design Review Board meets to review plan proposals. I'd like to attend one to do a write up for one of my classes, but can't find anything online.

Also, if anyone has contact info for whomever I would contact regarding attending one of those meetings.

Try Michael Moore. He'll be able to direct you.

I was thinking in regaurds to the casino issue how important it's going to be to get the Urban Design Reveiw Board to not bend on the design. Even though it's a vast tract of land it should still be regaurded as an urban context, because that's what it is. I would like to see the casino moved to the land directly behind the Flatiron Building, and use more vertical for anything possible. I know that the "the Floor" of casinos typically is on one level, but everything else can go up vertically.

Even if you do that, they will fill up the rest of the space with mammoth not-so-vertical parking structures.

Given the likelihood of passage of issue 3, do you think anyone is considering approaching the developers to help fund the streetcar line or an extension of it?  It could reduce their need for adjacent parking.  And I thought that John Schneider had a proposal for an alternative to vine street that would go very near, if not right next to, broadway commons.

Anybody know what's up with the form-based coded movement in Cincinnati? Am I in the wrong thread?
