April 27, 201213 yr and not to be a debbie-downer, but the Halle building needs help too...it is like less than half occupied
April 27, 201213 yr ^ And we have now come full circle. It only took over 90 years to do it. Next hopefully the E12th/Chester area can continue it's transformation. I don't quite understanding your first comment.
April 27, 201213 yr and not to be a debbie-downer, but the Halle building needs help too...it is like less than half occupied And will only get worse

November 26, 201212 yr Just in case anyone has been wondering about the inside... IMG_2862 by jjames0408, on Flickr There are two cars parked in there tonight. Unfortunately, can't really get a good look of the upper floors.
November 27, 201212 yr why are there two star wars light sabers in the photo? Its the former Sith training facility.
February 13, 201312 yr Couple guys hauling more debris out of the Truman Building the past two evenings, with the building lights on throughout. God let's hope this thing gets fully underway soon.
February 13, 201312 yr True. See if they'll work overtime to get something going on Schofield, too. Hopefully this is good news for Truman. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck

July 11, 201311 yr looks like the tree perched atop the Truman building has its own Twitter account: @TrumanTree Awesome! Oh and BTW, since February, the Truman restoration project is underway which puts the uninvited rooftop tree on the endangered species list. July 13, 201311 yr looks like the tree perched atop the Truman building has its own Twitter account: @TrumanTree Off topic but funny. Maybe this one should have it's own Twitter as well. Located on the backside of the Flatiron Cafe. The building on star plaza in playhouse square wins. It has TWO trees! Edit:(Is there anyway the forum could bring back collapsed pictures in quotes? It was better because you didn't have to delete the picture, and it would keep the forum cleaner looking. Plus the picture would still be there for reference which is better than deleting it. )
July 31, 201311 yr So exactly when is the estimated completion date for the Truman with the 18 new apartments?
August 1, 201311 yr Officially? Unknown. No projected completion date is listed on CRM website (its one of the featured properties -- ironically Schofield is not!): http://www.crmcompaniesinc.com/properties.html "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
August 13, 201311 yr I saw a front loader (not sure if that's what it's called or not) hauling a large amount of what appeared to be concrete and bricks out of the Truman building the other day. At least they are still making some progress on it.
August 14, 201311 yr So the company I intern with has a folder in our projects called "Truman Flats" and as far as I can tell, it was for asbestos abatement, but according to my co-workers the project is still going on. Fun fact.
October 2, 201311 yr Will the Truman have 18 apartments or 35? According to this channel 19 story they are going to have 35 and The Le Meridian next door is soon to start construction. http://www.19actionnews.com/story/23592659/the-vision-of-downtown-construction-euclid-ave-from-e-9th-to-e12th

October 8, 201311 yr LOL - nice Plus, there appears to be a man shooting at an NSA drone from the rooftop
October 8, 201311 yr LOL - nice Plus, there appears to be a man shooting at an NSA drone from the rooftop Wow, someone's been listening to right-wing-radio lately! "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
October 8, 201311 yr Perhaps, but I know he likes to poke at little ol' me. It's all cool. Yup, I was poking at little ol' Musky. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
November 28, 201311 yr Should start to see some active on the Truman building next week. Sounds like someone who can provide some additional insider details! Welcome to UO!
November 29, 201311 yr yes at least for the next 12 to 14 months Welcome, prideone. Please keep us posted on your progress. Photos (inside and out) are always welcome! :) If you need some tips on how to post them, send me a PM. December 5, 201311 yr I tried to up load some pics for you but the file is to big I will have to try from a computer
December 5, 201311 yr I think Flickr has made it more difficult to post images there. You can still do it, but you can't just click on the picture anymore to get different sizes of them. I still think Photobucket is easier, but I don't think they let you post pictures wider/larger than 640p. I still think Photobucket is easier, but I don't think they let you post pictures wider/larger than 640p. I'm not a fan of the Flickr upgrade either. It's hard to find, but there is actually a share button. From there you can select BB code and copy and paste it into the body of your message. It's much easier than right clicking the image and copying the address.
April 9, 201411 yr Won't there be a roof terrace up there? I can't wait till the tree returns. But I won't moss the wrecked facade and empty windows.
April 9, 201411 yr I always thought it'd be fitting to keep the tree and properly plant either down on Euclid in front of the building, or better yet on the rooftop (if thats actually happening) like you said. Strangely enough, it grew better than the ones down on Euclid but comprmised the integrity of the cornice on that 100 year old bldg until this afternoon
April 9, 201411 yr Thank you for posting the photo and capturing the moment when they finally removed that d@mn tree. As far as planting the 'earworm' of CeCe Peniston's "Finally" in my brain... oh, who am I kidding, one of my favorite 'back in the day' tunes :-) clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
April 10, 201411 yr Just that the building had been neglected for so long a full sized tree had taken root ... on the *roof* :-( clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
