Kalamazoo has about 72,700 people.  I was pleasantly surprised with Kalamazoo.  I would have to say it is my 3rd favorite city in Michigan, after GR and Detroit.

Great job!

Looks like a nice place

I love Kalamazoo.  They really seem to be doing alot and it's definitely a city with a positive reputation.  Sometimes we really begin to forget about it over there in the SW corner of the state, but I could definitely picture myself living there.  I know there was some debate about whether Kalamazoo has much stronger ties/influenced by Chicago than other cities in the state.

Great pictures Zach, glad you got the chance to visit.

I need to do some exploring in southern MI. Kalamazoo not only has an awesome name, but I didn't know that Bell´s was here.

I really enjoyed my time in Kalamazoo for my stepbrother's wedding earlier this year.  We stayed in the conspicuous Radisson hotel.  It really felt like we were staying in a spaceship that landed in the middle of town.

Nice shots. I haven't been back to Kalamazoo in about forty years, when I went there with a friend who was a planning consultant to photograph their then-new pedestrian mall. He wanted to get photos to use in his pitch to sell the concept in Huntington, Indiana. Huntington built one, but it was disliked by the locals from the start, unsuccessful at reviving retail, and died a rather quick death.

Go Hornets!
