Posted November 15, 200915 yr I needed a Cleveland fix and this wonderful November day compelled me to pay the city a visit.
November 15, 200915 yr Glad you got your Cleveland fix, and thanks for sharing it. The photos are beautiful.
November 15, 200915 yr Great pictures ,especially of the cornices of Cleveland. There are a lot of beautiful cornices throughout the city. The Taylor Dept. store bldg is getting its top replaced...good shot of that work-in-progress. The Schofield bldg (with its top still covered) should have one of the most elaborate cornices in the country, once it is finished. It may even be too big and elaborate to even be called a cornice. I almost forgot...that cornice on the City Club Building is so delicate looking , I'm surprised it has held up so well for a bldg around 100 yrs old. ***** CCB was built 1903, amazing condition. Unless someone knows if its exterior was restored at some point, I don't recall anything like that.
November 15, 200915 yr Andrew, you remind me of when I lived in Columbus, I would randomely need a Cleveland fix and found myself usually spur of the moment going up to Cleveland quite often. Thanks for helping to tide me over till Thanksgiving. Great angles and detail.

November 16, 200915 yr Great pics of your Cleveland fix! I really like your inclusion of people amongst all the settings. It adds a necessary human angle to the city story we often forget in our discussions and portrayals of buildings, architecture, construction projects and cityscapes. Thanks so much!
