This is an off-shoot poll from the "Which UO Forum do you prefer: New or Old?"  Basically, this will help improve the forum's performance so we can make UrbanOhio an enjoyable experience for all people (including ME)!

Can we have three options?  People access the site at the office, home and mobile.

Done.

My "other" is Chrome, which I imagine will get more votes than Opera which I also use and voted for.

It depends where I am but more often than not, IE 6-8

It wouldn't be hard to pull up statistics for this. I assume UO has StatCounter or some other metric service?

delete my post, not the survey...

I can thankfully say that I am finally out of the IE6 camp when I finally got a new computer at work...

Ironically, I just got a new computer at work but we are still on IE6 company-wide.

Usually use Firefox, but since long photo threads tend to get cut off in that browser, I use IE for viewing photos.

Firefox 3.5.5

Firefox still has the problem rendering large numbers of images within a table cell, though, so for large photo threads, I fall back to IE 7 or IE 8.

EDIT:  Ha, I see confiteordeo posted the same Firefox complaint as me while I was writing my post.

EDIT EDIT:  Where did the formatting tools and smileys go on the Reply page?

I see the formatting options and smileys on the reply page with IE 6/7/8, and in FF 2/3.

The rendering of a large number of images is a FF issue, although it hasn't been resolved in ages.

They were just there for me before lunch, and now they're missing.  Oh well, I didn't use them anyway.

The rendering issue was targeted for 3.0, then 3.5, and now who knows.  I haven't looked up the bug in a while now.

EDIT:  I should have checked the Error Console before posting.  I am getting a JavaScript error on the Reply page which I am assuming is preventing the formatting box from displaying.

Error: smc_SmileyBox is not defined

I use FF and am always cut off on long photothreads on UO, but often the same photo thread is posted on SSP and I can view the entire thread there.

ff and the ie tab extension for photo threads.
