All photos so far were of the same line. That line also goes into a tunnel under the town center, and stops at the the main railroad station.

I didn't get a photo of the subway, so here are some sheep instead.

Cool pics. And here I first thought you were going to Photoshop some light rail into the Over The Rhine neighborhood!

Reminds me a lot of Cologne and Bonn. All three (with Dusseldorf) are similar looking cities.

If you want to see an interesting video, check out the cab ride videotape series from Carson Video shot in the late 80 and early 90s. They have lots of European cities represented, including a cab ride on a light rail/interurban train from Bonn to Cologne. After I saw that video, I knew I had to go to Europe someday....

Look at those trolley's, what boondoggles!

Love this set. I was completely blindsided by the sheep photo, and almost choked on my morning coffee!

Bondoogles!

They certainly love their trains in Deutchland!!

I should add that those sheep live in the middle of the city. Dusseldorf has a flood plain along the Rhine somewhat analogous to the Cincinnati Riverfront, but instead of building things on elevated parking garages, Dusseldorf made her flood plain into pastureland.

One day I walked across the bridge over all this grass, but when I came back, in the evening, there were about 1000 sheep in the floodplain. Where did these come from? It was a total surprize. Part of the floodplain was mowed into a sports field and hosted a gang of rugby players and a guy parasailing a skateboard.

The rabbits occupied the inside of a cloverleaf loop, and the duck lived in a open stream that flowed through the town center.

i like the duck house.

you arent the only one. that was hilarious!

I loved the sheep shot.  Can't wait to get over to Germany and take a journey along the beautiful Rhine River.
