His mission: West Chester city

WEST CHESTER TWP. - Maybe the electrician that worked on Bill Zerkle's house last week summed it up right.

 

"Aren't you the 'city' guy?" he asked.

 

That would describe Zerkle's identity these days.

 

The 59-year-old West Chester Township resident is spearheading a push to turn this growing community of about 63,000 into a city.

It's about time......
