Posted December 4, 200519 yr I am in Baltimore today watching the Ravens fans kicking themselves from that near loss to the Texans while score reports show a Bengals victory. Glad to hear our Bengals can shut a few skeptics up from a much needed win. Who Dey!
December 5, 200519 yr Hell yes. Not only that, but the Bengals are also tied for the #2 seed in the AFC! Who Dey!

December 9, 200519 yr Hell yes. Not only that, but the Bengals are also tied for the #2 seed in the AFC! Who Dey! Not excatly, IIRC Denver gets the number 2 seed since they have a better AFC record True. That will be decided at the end of the year. For now, they're even W-L wise, but you're technically right.
December 9, 200519 yr I'm visiting family in Cleveland over New Year's...that means the last week of the season, with Cincinnati playing KC (currently 8-4) after playing three 4-8 teams, and Denver playing who, San Diego? (currently 8-4) after playing three 4-8 teams, with a 1st round bye and home field advantage likely to be on the line, what'll I have to watch? Cleveland-Baltimore. No offense to my Cleveland friends, and I'd love to see Modell's birds stomped, but honestly - aargh...
December 12, 200519 yr Barely squeaked by today, but a win is a win is a win. I predict the score of the Bengals-Chiefs game will be 87-79 Bengals. Palmer will have 8 TD passes.
December 12, 200519 yr Do the Bearcats play the Jayhawks or Mizzou this year? If so, we can use that as a base for comparison.
December 13, 200519 yr ^ I don't know, but I know I saw about 10 top 25 teams they will have to play this year. It looks like a top 10 schedule. They will go 13-13 ..lol
December 15, 200519 yr if you guys care, the lions fans are so upset with the ownership and the GM 1) a protest is being staged at 2pm during the game (outside) 2) Lions fans are encouraged to wear bengals colors and make the bengal feel at home.
December 16, 200519 yr We'll lynch our owners, GM, coaches, and players before welcoming an opposing team.
December 16, 200519 yr I guess his court date was pushed back for another month. Also, the team hasn't said anything about whether or not he will play Sunday. He's been at practice the last 2 days. He will be really needed--the Bengals are already down as far as pass-catchers with Chris Perry being out. PHOTO: Covington Police say they found two baggies of marijuana in Chris Henry's left shoe after stopping him for speeding. Here he is at his booking. Henry arrested Rookie also facing traffic violations By Mark Curnutte Enquirer staff writer Bengals rookie wide receiver Chris Henry was arrested early Thursday by Covington Police for marijuana possession and four traffic violations. Henry, 22, of Florence, was initially scheduled to appear in Kenton District Court at 9:30 a.m. today. But Phil Taliaferro, Henry's lawyer, said late Thursday from Florida that the hearing would be pushed back to Jan. 13. Henry was stopped for speeding by two Covington Police officers at approximately 2 a.m. Thursday, said Ken Easterling, chief prosecutor for the Kenton County Attorney's Office. The officers noticed the scent of marijuana, and Henry consented to a body and vehicle search. Officers found two baggies of marijuana in his left shoe. Henry was driving what police described as a new Cadillac Escalade, but he could not produce proof of auto insurance and had expired tags and an expired driver's license. He also was charged with speeding and was scheduled to appear in Kenton District Court on Dec. 28 for the traffic charges. December 17, 200519 yr "ahh but you dont got a problem schmokin weed, your prob is the schmokin colts schnoochie!!!"
December 24, 200519 yr Those shots of Millen on Sunday were priceless. Especially when Harrington took them down to score when the game was already out of hand.
December 24, 200519 yr Wow, if anything Palmer need to improve is the last drive. Every last drive he's had he's turned the ball over.
December 25, 200519 yr Nice loss there, Bungles. I'm looking forward to watching the Steelers knock you out of the playoffs.

December 29, 200519 yr YAY!!! This is money well spent. This guy will be in the Hall of Fame one day: Palmer deal: $118M over 9 years By Mark Curnutte Enquirer staff writer The Bengals now have their quarterback through 2014 and hope that the salary cap room created by Carson Palmer’s re-negotiated contract will open up salary cap space to re-sign the team’s offensive linemen. The club announced this afternoon that Palmer signed a contract extension. But while the Bengals initially called it a six-year extension, it is a new nine-year contract that replaces the remaining three years of Palmer’s original deal. Palmer will be paid $118.75 million over the next nine years. Full story: http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051229/SPT02/312290007
January 8, 200619 yr Author Well Cincinnati has enjoyed the money the Steelers fans have been spending in our city so now lets send them home with a frown on their face. GO BENGALS | WHO DEY! Show your support by posting your "WHO-DEY" comments on this thread!
January 8, 200619 yr Whoooooooooo Dey! I'm feeling strangely confident the Bengals will get their first playoff win in 15 years.
January 9, 200619 yr Losing 2 players on one play is crazy. Just like what happend to Kenyon Martin. Cincinnati is cursed.
January 9, 200619 yr ^Maybe we are, look at the Banks next store. I don't know my Bengals history, but didn't Pittsburg take out Kenny Anderson too? I guess we will all be rooting for Indianapolis next week.
January 9, 200619 yr Author I wouldn't root for Indy for anything. I hope they lose. Pittsburgh, took a cheap shot on our QB. I knew we were doomed with Kitna even though he started out good. He always looks like a chicken with his head cut off in the pocket. And what are you talking about when you say "Banks next store"?
January 9, 200619 yr All I'm saying is it was a great season and next season will be better. WHO DEY! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers

Unusualfire said Cincy was cursed. The Banks would be next store to PBS. Anyway, it was a great year and amazing to see everyone with Cincy pride!
January 9, 200619 yr Author The city isn't cursed. The team will be back next year and the Banks will happen.
January 9, 200619 yr It wasn't a cheap shot... Von Oelhoffen was blocked into Carson by Erie Steinbach... he was falling as he contacted Carson's knee. As a Steeler fan, I was horrified... Carson is one of the game's brightest young stars... and I hate to see him suffer such a severe injury. I hope his rehab goes well and he can return better than ever. Great game, Bengals... Kitna played pretty well until the end... It was thrilling and intense. The Bengals will be back.
January 9, 200619 yr hey, at the beginning of the season, if you told me the cincinnati bengals would win the afc north and go to the playoffs but lose its first game I would have taken it and given you $1,000 dollars. We should all be so happy the team is winning and is headed for bigger and better things....that is with a healthy Carson Palmer.
January 9, 200619 yr Author Evergrey, lets be honest Kitna played awful and was quite embarrassing. I hope the Bengals don't keep him next year.
January 9, 200619 yr Evergrey, lets be honest Kitna played awful and was quite embarrassing. I hope the Bengals don't keep him next year. Philadelphia would be more than happy to trade you Koy Detmer or Mike McMahan for Kitna. :-)
January 10, 200619 yr my pal in brooklyn sent me this hilarious email. btw he lived in cinci for yrs and went to uc. ya gotta have a sense of humor about these things...! > > did you see bengals vs steelers yesterday? > > too bad about carson palmer getting the busted knee on the first play from scrimmage. looks like he's recovering > nicely, though. >
