January 14, 201015 yr I never made it there when I was in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl. Pretty nice looking.
January 14, 201015 yr Interesting. I've never been past Esplanade Ave. If it's past the Port of Call burger joint, I dont need to see it!

January 14, 201015 yr most of the cheap quarter apartments became condo vacation homes begining in the 90s. They are more rental units now, but not anywhere near what it used to be....so I'm told.

January 14, 201015 yr Any good/unique restaurants over there? There are a bunch on Frenchmen street, and a few scattered through the neighborhood. The Thai, Japanese, and Indian places of the area are in the Marigny More known for food rather then ambiance. And a bunch of bars, mostly gay or extra gay friendly

I might have to check those out, that is if the clubs are not like Oz or Red Juicy Fruit Jungle. I dont think I could make out of there without laughing at the Hillbilly Homo's.
January 14, 201015 yr It is Carnival time! Nevermind! There are two times of the year I hate visiting NoLa. Carnival and Essence Music Festival.

January 14, 201015 yr Beautiful Ink!!! Glad to finally see New Orleans shots. Those have to be the best shot gun houses I've ever seen.

January 16, 201015 yr I really want to go back to NOLA. Went to Tulane for a year and flunked out because I had too much fun. Now, I would love to own a house in New Orleans and in Cincinnati. Go back and forth during the year. That is a very silly idea, owning two houses but you can do it in your imagination.
