Columbus has a healthy pedicab business during warmer months centered around the Short North and Arena District (Downtown). ECT Pedicab is the local pedicab company here and even got positive reviews on Yelp and was featured in the Dispatch. I've only ridden one a few blocks and it was pleasant. What's the pedicab scene like in your city and what was your experience like?

We don't have them yet.  I'd love to see it happen, though.

I would think a Pedicab business centered around moving people between Gateway, E 4th and the warehouse district would work fairly well.

distances are fairly short but long enough that most people don't really want to walk them, especially through the areas that have to be transited.

I think running the "trolley buses" on friday/sat nights between these areas would work as well, but running them in a loop around

E 4th/Warehouse District/Ohio City/Tremont  would be optimal.

There were pedicabs operating in Cincinnati between downtown Cincinnati and Newport's riverfront taking people across the pedestrianized L&N Bridge.

From my understanding the company owner decided to stop operations, but is still sitting on all the pedicabs.  A recent conversation with some downtown Cincinnati stakeholders informed me that there may be a movement to get those pedicabs operating throughout Cincinnati's core in Downtown, Over-the-Rhine, and other nearby neighborhoods.

they work great in charleston SC, even better in flat areas...
