February 23, 201015 yr Did you run some sort of filter or use a particular lens that gave these photos a lighter appearance in the center of the image?
February 23, 201015 yr Did you run some sort of filter or use a particular lens that gave these photos a lighter appearance in the center of the image? I think it's just vignetting which occurs naturally, but in Adobe Lightroom you can enhance it a bit if you so choose.
February 24, 201015 yr @Randy, I have a selected number of filters that I use in Adobe Lightroom for non-destructive editing. I have a particular number for black-and-white, a few desaturated and some other color variants that I play around with occasionally. The lighting that evening was great, but I originally did these with no filter and it was just... bleh. Add in some minor vignetting because of the lens (Sigma 150-500mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM) because I was shooting at the extreme (500mm), which I exaggerated with the filter. I remember the times when I shot film and was swapping filters back and forth for similar effects. Now we can do it in seconds and play around with it with software :|
February 24, 201015 yr Nice. #2 reminds me of Ronny's rendering of QCS from a few years back and, boy was he close!
