Posted February 23, 201015 yr The media might have you think all of New Orleans looks like the Lower Ninth Ward, but it is the only area of the city where I found such destruction. Holy Cross, the more historic section, faired much better and is seeing new life. The Ninth Ward is nearly gone. Starting out in the Lower Ninth Ward just above Holy Cross... Getting into Holy Cross... And that is it from New Orleans, one of American's most beautiful cities.

March 13, 201015 yr I don't understand how such a beautiful city can have such an ugly skyline. I guess that is true. New Orleans' historic skyscrapers are beautiful, but they are hidden in the above view.
March 13, 201015 yr I've been to NOLA for the past two years, helping to rebuild the communities and surrounding communities. It's such a heartbreaking experience to see how much still needs to be done. There is still so much more work to do and not enough help. It's sad really because NOLA is such a wonderful place to explore and experience! I love it there!
